A native Floridian, John is a graduate of Rollins College Hamilton Holt School in Winter Park, Florida, where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.  He has been practicing Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release ™, and Polarity Therapy since 1988, when he graduated from the Suncoast School Of Natural Health in Tampa, Florida.  Following graduation, John served as lead instructor and academic director at Suncoast for six years.  After leaving Suncoast, John continues to teach and consult with other professionals and organizations:

A dedicated and lifelong learner, John has sought extensive training in Craniosacral and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release™, Polarity Therapy, Therapeutic Touch Therapy, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.  Every year, he continues his training to stay on the cutting edge of the latest developments and techniques that produce lasting results.

John’s journey with therapy began after a major car accident in 1989, which left him with debilitating low back, neck and jaw (TMJ) pain.  He received a wide range of care (chiropractic, acupuncture, massage and physical therapy) seeking relief from pain.  Throughout his healing journey, John has found that true authentic healing requires commitment, compassion and courage.

As an advanced massage and myofascial release™ specialist, John has a deep passion for the process of transformation and the resolution of pain and suffering.  In practicing his craft, consulting and teaching, John incorporates a unique style of humor, presence, listening and storytelling that will touch and transform your life.
